Every box starts with a phone call to a grower we know by name. We keep the list short on purpose: it is the only way to know how the fruit was grown, when it was picked and who picked it.
How we choose a farm
- Harvest-to-cool time under two hours
- Ripeness picked for flavour, not for shipping
- Fair, direct payment — no brokers in between
- A visit from us at least once a season

Three of our partners
The mango orchard
A second-generation family grove of Ataulfo mangoes. They pick tree-ripe and pack in the shade the same morning.
The greens cooperative
A cooperative of small plots growing spinach, kale and herbs. Everything is cut before dawn and hydro-cooled within the hour.
The citrus family
Limes, grapefruit and mandarins from a farm that has never used a cold-storage warehouse — because it never needed one until we asked them to.
Good produce is a relationship, not a purchase order.
